It all began in 2005 when Anne Pascale Mathy-Devalk, a graphic artist and photographer at the time, found a book dating back to 1905 written by a creator of perfumes kept by a close friend.
This secretly kept book was the trigger that inspired Anne Pascale to apply herself to the realm of perfumes, a passion she already held from a young age. Bustling with intuitions, her aspiration is to find a means of expressing the personality of her clients through fragrances.
Self-taught, she applied herself passionately for the next four years of learning. She packed her bags for Grasse, the perfume capital, where the specialists guided and advised her, sharing their know-how and precious experience with her.
In 2009, L’Antichambre was created.
