  • Bush with large soft leaves and small white flowers originally from Indonesia and Malaysia. The essence is distilled in Indonesia, China and India.

  • The essential oil is obtained by vapor distillation of the dried leaves. The oil has a strong, woody, earthy character that is non-volatile. The plant has a firm, velvety stem, large, odorous and soft leaves, as well as white, purple-tinted flowers.

  • Used in chypre, woody and oriental perfumes.

  • The dried leaves have anti-mite properties. In Asia, the grass?? is used to treat colds, headaches, nausea, and abdominal pain. In Japan and Malaysia, it is used as an antidote for venomous snakebites. Its odor has a positive effect on psychological balance and sensitivity.
